GMG ColorProof o4 contains the GMG ProfileEditor with SpotColor Editor, the GMG RIP Server, and output modules for a wide range of output devices. The central element in the software is the unique “4-D Color Transformation Engine”, which guarantees the best possible quality and color accuracy when producing contract proofs with a variety of output devices. The system can be calibrated against all standard color charts using a spectrophotometer. Device-independent color profiles are stored for specific printer families. Together with a set of highly developed linearization tools, this makes the system particularly well suited for remote proofing applications. GMG ColorProof o4 supports all currently available spot color systems (with up to 64 individual color channels per image), and is compatible with standard ICC profiles, which can be combined with GMG device link profiles.
