Z-Fold
Also known as accordian fold. Both are similar, but the accordian fold is typically referenced when there is more than 2 folds per page. On a Z fold there are 3 panels per side that can be used to separate information. It can also be used for mailing but requires 2 tabs to hold it together verses a Tri fold that only requires 1 tab. Common uses are brochures, flyers, pamphlets, handouts, newsletters and menus. This fold makes it easier to put large charts or graphs of data that the reader can easily look across and get the information they need. The cover can also look as if it stands on its own, but when opened becomes part of the rest of the paneling information. A 8 by 11 sheet of paper Z folded will fit into a #10 envelope.
